Overseas Health Insurance - Hong Kong

A holder of our overseas health insurance, based in Hong Kong, was diagnosed with peripheral T-cell lymphoma. His doctor recommended a series of chemotherapy treatments combined with regular full body scans to monitor the effectiveness of the chemotherapy. AGB Hong Kong arranged with the attending doctor to settle all bills for the chemotherapy directly to the clinic, rather than the client having to outlay large sums for each session.

The patient was routinely hospitalised for intensive treatment and scans, for which AGB Hong Kong issued guarantees of payment to the hospital under his overseas health insurance. AGB paid all bills directly to the hospital accounts department, allowing the patient to receive costly treatment without having to worry about the financial burden. The patient is continuing with the chemotherapy treatment and a possible bone marrow transplant, for which AGB will arrange settlement should a suitable donor be located.
